Suggested fabric for lining an outfit made with silk dupion?
Having purchsed silk dupion to have a suit made, what fabric would make a suitable lining? I want something that will breathe – not make the wearer hot, nor the fabric cause static. Thank you.
how about a thin silk …. it’s slippy, natural and breathable unlike polyester, and not as likely to cause static as polyester.
I used a dupioni white silk [i called it raw silk] for my wedding dress, and lined it with a thin white silk. it worked perfectly well, and it FELT wonderful.
