How can I remove water stains from my formal (dry clean only) gown?
I purchased a formal gown and hung it in my room until the event. Apparently, my roof leaks. I now have water stains on my gown (I assume from rain dripping from the ceiling). The dry cleaners said there was no way to remove it. Any suggestions? Please help! Tag on dress says 95% Polyester, 4% Span, 100% Acetate Lining, Dry Clean Only.
a solution of seltzer water with a little vinegar may help, the water must have had rust in it for the cleaners to say that…how about a second cleaners opinion. Some cleaners just do not wish to take on the responsibility for fear of losing money.
