Maid Prom
Which Halloween costume is better, a dead prom queen or a french maid?or a dead french maid?
i have no clue and i need to buy my costume soon
Dead French Maid, and here’s how you do it:
Get a French Maid outfit (Target or WallMart, $20 or so)
Get some fake blood (washable) and flick it on the apron and on your face (JUST the apron, NOT the dress)
Get make up and have a black eye and a bloody cut on you face.
Smear the blood on your arms
tear the dress so it looks cut with a knife.
Pin your hair up and them take out 1/2 cenimeter strands of hair in RANDOM places.
You got your self a dead french maid. LOL

Ask any single woman, if you are waiting for a prince on a white horse to come and rescue her, and laugh in your face.
But the truth is that millions of single women – single men too – are actually waiting for someone to scan and save them from their dreary life, unsatisying.
It's a fairy tales that have been fed since childhood. The brave rescuer is presented as an ideal, and at some level, everyone is looking for an outsider to do what we think we can do ourselves.
Most single people consider themselves independent and assertive, but when it comes to taking action that should too often we refer to the expectations of fairy tale. We believe that we are so "special" is just a matter of time until someone discovers that and is thrilled to make our lives perfect.
If fairy tale and reality collide
Dr. Nathaniel Branden, in his place reference book, The six pillars of self-esteem, says he knows a patient has turned the corner in therapy when he or she realizes, "Nobody comes to the rescue. Nothing will happen in my life if I do something. "
The elaborateness of some wedding is proof that many single women have not yet given up the myth of being rescued. The groom is displayed in all its splendor almost real, and the bride looks like a princess, accompanied by her bridesmaids. All dressed in costumes that seem absurd anywhere except a ballroom.
Eventually the dream ends, however, unpaid bills and dirty diapers. Reality can be a shock to your system.
Statistics show that millions of men and women who never marry. Is it because, to his dying day, who hold out hope someone rescue them, or is it because they never turned the corner to rescue themselves?
Overcoming the fear of rejection
No one enjoys of being rejected. It may be a sting, the humiliating experience – if we leave. But somewhere along the way, one person has to weigh that fear against the potential reward be accepted.
Every time I think about the rejection, I remember my cousin Tim, who declined to 27 girls at her high school graduation party before it is used. His desire to go to the party was much stronger than his fear of rejection. Today Tim is happily married and has two grown children. He rescued himself.
You could argue that the 27 girls who had asked to wait to be "rescued" for dancing, but what kept them from asking the question? The fear of rejection.
The good things in life people will overcome their fear of rejection. Few authors publishing in its first presentation. Few people get the first position you are applying. Few people marry in the first person to make an appointment.
Cultivate emotional callus
People who play stringed instruments develop calluses on the tips of his fingers, called caps. Can not play a stringed instrument for any length of time without them. At first, the fingers are very sore, but once formed, calluses act as protection until there is no pain at all downward pressure on steel strings.
Singles need to cultivate an emotional callus. Rejection hurt at first, but soon discover that it is not fatal. In fact, the more determined you are, the sooner you're ready to try again. Every rejection hurts a little less, until after a while hardly hurt.
We give much attention to the sensitivity of our "." It may simply be an excuse for not trying, as if it were an independent entity beyond our control. However, we will never acquire the callus is necessary unless we are willing to endure some pain in the process. If we do not catastrophic when someone says "No, we're not so scared of trying again.
Extend your comfort zone by degrees
Rescuing yourself is something you can do in stages. You can start with small, insignificant risks, learning that failure is not fatal. Also find that the pain is largely self-created. If you're determined to not let it bother you, it will not. We are always more concerned about what others think of us if we fail, so if you decide not to let his opinion bother you, you'll be more brave.
The more We demand the status quo and the absence of pain, unless we grow in life. Single people who get what they want without any kind of adversity are extremely rare. Change, above all for the better, requires that step outside your comfort zone.
Once we understand that there is no savior come, you have two options. You can not do anything, looking the calendar pages tirelessly making each month, or try to rescue yourself – and keep trying until something good happens.
That the election of sounds more prudent for you?
