The Eight English Translations Compared in BeDuhn’s book
are: – The King James Version (KJV) – The Amplified Bible
(AB)
- The Living Bible (LB)
- The New American Bible (NAB)
- The New American Standard Bible
(NASB) – The New International Version
(NIV) – The New World Translation (NW)
- The (New) Revised Standard Version
(NRSV) – Today’s English Version (TEV)
Excerpts from his book:

Actually under the word for word translation of the Diaglott, (left side of the page)

It reads “a god was the word.”

http://www.thedcl.org/bible/diaglott-nt/ed-john.pdf

The NAB in it’s foot note states: “Was God: lack of a definite article with “God” in Greek signifies predication rather than identification. ”

Predication is another word meaning quality.

This means that God(2) means the Word has Godly qualities.

http://www.nccbuscc.org/nab/bible/john/john1.htm

I found this interesting quote yesterday.

Concerning the NIV:

Bruce Metzger: “It is surprising that translators who profess to have ‘a high view of scripture” should take liberties with text by omitting words or, more often, by adding words that are not in the manuscripts.”

In my years of study and research I can agree with Dr. BeDuhn I have yet found where the NWT has added or deleted words to ‘prove’ a bible teaching.

Within a company of News Release

Most investors read the press releases of the company and did not read between the lines to understand what direction it is now. Too often, a company tries to say everything in the title and first paragraph. Why? Because they know, like us, that most investors analyze the title, a few sentences and perhaps look at some intersections drilling or technical data (which few really understand). Then, the investor see how the share price reacts to the news, joy or complain about a public chat board. Often, key phrases or sentences are buried within the release, sometimes near the bottom. This can give you an idea of what is really happening with the company.

We stopped some recent press releases several mining companies who have been following to help investors read between the lines. Only a sharp, merciless evaluation of each press release, or a series of its press releases, could give a precise interpretation of how the company is doing. Hopefully the guidance that follows may help understand better what is really going on with the plans of the company.

Northwestern Mineral Ventures (TSX-V: Northwest; OTCBB: NWTMF) announced Thursday the completion of profile on the air. It also announced a number of potential uranium targets in the country of Niger (Africa). Read an earlier interview we conducted with Dr. John North, director of this company, he said, "There seems no shortage of drill targets on the concessions." What was the big news? CEO announced that it had "identified several near-surface targets with significant uranium mineralization potential. That was not the news. Not even close. I knew it!

The company covered 24,000 kilometers of line, more than 14,000 miles. His first step was through cherry picking. The real news was buried in the third paragraph, "… a second survey in the air to further delineate areas with strong potential for uranium, is expected to begin in the summer." That should choose the strongest drilling targets at a later stage exploration company. That line also told us that he had very encouraging news. If the second in the air, confirms the strong uranium potential, raising money to advance the project through drilling and advanced exploration will more easily.

Forsys Metals Corp (TSX: FSY) announced on 28 May a new detailed drilling program "yard of the Valencia Uranium in Namibia (Africa). Closely spaced reverse circulation drilling will help add more "measured" resources for feasibility study for the company. The increase in the extent of resources, will be easier for the company to get the money to develop a uranium mine or sell its deposit to a large company. Sounds good, but a news article Forsys Metals posted on its website has been of greatest interest to us.

A major obstacle to follow the development of deposits of low grade uranium in Namibia is water. These projects are in a desert. It needs water, much of it, to mine. On 26 May, the Namibian newspaper published a very encouraging – good news not only for the Rossing mine, but also for Forsys Metals and UraMin (which is also expected initiate uranium mining in Namibia). What was the news? In a breakfast meeting on water conservation and management organized by the Economic Society Namibia (NES) on Wednesday, NamWater CEO Vaino Shivute, said: "The desalination plant is back on the table. We are back to how to restart it, examine the problems of the past and learn from that. "With the water problem on his way to a possible resolution, we expect increased interest in Namibia.

Energy Metals Corporation (TSX: EMC.TO) announced it would begin trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Thursday. Rates of EMC Chief Executive Paul Matysek your spelling out that because of this, it would be possible that "… the company to reach a broader base of individual investors, mutual funds and institutional investors. In other words, there is less dependence on individual investors, and the dependence of the largest funds to get into the shares of EMC. Of course, little is joined the party too.

UR-Energy Inc. (TSX: URE.TO) issued a series of press releases between June 5 and Thursday, announcing a series of events important. First, they confirmed their uranium resources in its two main properties, Lost Soldier and Lost Creek in Wyoming, by filing National Instrument 43-101 documents. Both resources were above historical resource estimates. Secondly, the company confirmed the leaching of uranium at its Lost Soldier.

Why is it so important? Without the ability of uranium in situ leaching through a reclamation project, the company had been forced to raise money for an operation much more expensive in the open. In an earlier interview, Chief Executive Bill Boberg told us the permeability would be a "go-no go" consideration in the project. It seems to be an opportunity. Press release on Thursday confirmed that, but buried at the bottom of the press release was more revealing news. The company is conducting environmental, hydrological and engineering studies to "generate baseline data."

During the course of our Wyoming research, we discovered that a company must provide at least one year of baseline data before it can submit its application for a permit to mine in that state. The other piece of data in the press release was UR-Energy has been working on this and is expected to submit its request in mid-2007. In other words, the company is moving forward quickly to establish its In Situ Recovery operation.

Uranerz Energy (OTC BB: URNZ) issued a few press release saying, which may explain the direction in which they go. On 5 June the company announced a new CFO. URNZ also announced that had closed a financing meets his cash to just under $ 12 million. URNZ CEO Glenn Catchpole told us he hoped to launch its first spot the recovery operation around or less than $ 10 million. This is a good sign. However, it was release the next day, which confirmed the earlier news and reinforced when the company goes. The company announced the appointment of three independent directors to its board. The three were appointed to the committee audit. There are two counters with an impressive record and the third has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario, a leading North American schools MBA. How to interpret this press release? URNZ probably plans to move from the lowly in the bulletin board of fighting in exchange for a higher level: AMEX or NASDAQ Small Cap would be our assumption.

What do you do about a company that has been publishing a series of press releases? Take Strathmore Minerals (TSX: STM; Other OTC: STHJF) as an example. There is progress, but the news flow has been pretty quiet. Have they reached an impasse? No, quite the opposite is true.

We did what any investor should do in the absence of important news. We picked up the phone and called his department of investor relations. During a brief chat with Craig Christy, the company spokesman, asked about the cash situation of the company. He replied: "We have about C $ 0.55/share in cash. "Based on the closing price on Thursday, which reaches more than 30 percent of what the market is valuing STM. That's up from C $ 0.37/share in early this year. STM has plenty of cash and is in excellent financial condition.

Sought through our copy of the Hargreave Hale, entitled, "Too Hot to Handle or warmer?" This is a major British financial institution, based in London. They are a major shareholder in STM, and we STM recommends actions. On page 32 of your document, we reviewed a financial analysis of the 33 largest producers of uranium in Canada and Australia and development companies. The bar graph represents the value of the business of uranium (UREV) per pound of U3O8 adjusted risk Reserves and Resources of those thirty-three companies. A horizontal line crossed table, which shows the fair value of approximately U.S. $ 4 million for each company UREV per pound adjusted.

It is interesting to study how STM stacked against many of the most popular mining companies. Companies such as Mega Uranium (TSX: MGA) nominal About U.S. $ 28 million – about 700 percent Hargreave Hale more than the "fair value" analysis. Crosshair Exploration and Mining traded about 500 percent of its fair value. UEX obtained almost twice above its fair value. Companies such as Uranium Resources, Western Prospector, Paladin Resources and Energy UrAsia scored at or very close their fair value. Strathmore Minerals had the lowest number of fair value – An absolute steal at 30 percent of its fair value. Some 16 listed companies by above fair value, some well above the Hargreave Hale fair value analysis. It is instructive to find Strathmore was in the company of producers and effectiveness of Australia, IUC, Uranium One and Denison as an undervalued uranium company. In this case, was the most undervalued of all the 33 companies examined by the City of London financial institution.

We also found that a week ago, Strathmore Minerals president David Miller presented at the invitation Only Raymond James In-Situ Leach Uranium Mini-Conference in Toronto and Montreal on June 7 and 8. You can visit the website at Raymond James for the replay of the presentation David Miller's, but has restricted access. Others present were the metals uranium resources and Energy. We were fortunate to review David Miller's PowerPoint presentation. One word describes the presentation of Miller: Wow! It's really a package of punch. We hear Raymond James may be the release of these presentations to the public in the near future.

Sometimes when there is a lack of news, one can learn to dig and find a company may be doing quite well. In other cases, it can study the press releases and try to unite the company is headed. We hope this guide will help you become a more sophisticated investor. We do not recommend actions, nor give advice on buying and selling. As always, speculating on natural resource companies can be very risky and suitable only for certain investors. One must always consult with their registered financial advisor about what is appropriate or not for investment decisions.
