How long would satin ballet shoes last?

I am planning to have a lesson a week and practice 30 minutes per day (all 7 days) or slightly more (40min). How long do you think they will last and how to I ‘look after’ them to extend their life or do you recommend me getting two pairs both satin or leather, canvas etc?

Satin look nice and are great for exams but arn’t that complimentry for your feet, and they dont last especially long. I recommend split sole leather shoes, they last nicely and mold to fit your feet. Canvas ones wear away very quickly.
